Giuseppe Ungari was born in 1962 in Cagliari

He currently works as photojournalist in cooperation with the ANSA News Agency and the newspaper L'Unione Sarda.

His images cover areas such as city news, politics, entertainment, sports and all everyday stories with a special emphasis on their social, ethnic and anthropological aspects.
In 2003 he exhibited his Portraits of the Poets of the “Beat Generation “ in the Cultural Photographic Centre of “ Su Palatu” in Villanova Monteleone.

English Wedding, in 2005 is a brilliant work on a marriage of an english couple in Sardinia. The eye of Giuseppe was able to catch the british humour wit in the seductive light of Sardinia.

In 2006 he exhibited his work “Un anno fa il mondo in una piazza” (A year ago the Word in a square), a special selection of photographs taken in Rome for a reportage shot during the days of the Ceremony for the funeral of the Pope John Paul II.

His latest work, "Fire in Sardinia" with stunning and shocking images has been published worldwide.
